This is the personal portfolio website of Pavithran M (“I”, “me”), available at pavithranm.in. It covers this website only, including its projects page and CV. If you have a question about this policy, email me at [email protected].

• There are no accounts, forms, comments or newsletters. Payments, if you choose to support me, happen on Razorpay, not on this website.
• I don’t use cookies, advertising, tracking pixels, third-party analytics or social-media widgets.
• A simple visit counter of my own counts one visit per device per day, using a random ID that says nothing about who you are.
• Fonts and images are served from this website, not from third-party services.
• The only personal information I receive is what you choose to send me by email or WhatsApp, and the details Razorpay shares with me if you support my work.

Hosting logs

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. When you visit, GitHub logs your IP address and stores it for security purposes, as described in GitHub’s documentation and the GitHub General Privacy Statement. I don’t have access to these logs.

Visit counter

To count visits, your browser saves a random ID (for example 3f6c…) in local storage under the key pm_visitor, plus the date it was last counted under pm_visit_day. Once a day, the site sends that ID, the date and the page you landed on to my database, hosted by Supabase. That’s how the footer can show a visit count without counting every reload. The ID isn’t linked to your name, email, IP address or anything else about you, and it’s never used for advertising or shared. Clearing this site’s data in your browser deletes it, and you’ll simply be counted as a new visitor next time. Like any web service, Supabase processes the technical details of each request (such as your IP address) to deliver it, under its own privacy policy. I don’t store them.

Your theme choice

If you switch between light and dark mode, the choice is saved in your browser’s local storage under the key theme, so the site remembers it next time. It stays on your device and is never sent to me or anyone else. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes it.

Emails and WhatsApp messages

If you email me or message me on WhatsApp, I receive your email address or phone number and whatever you write. I use it only to reply to you. I don’t add you to any list, sell it or share it, and I’ll delete our conversation if you ask.

Support payments

The “Support my dream” page links to my Razorpay payment page. If you pay, Razorpay collects and processes your payment details under the Razorpay Privacy Policy. I never see your card, UPI or bank details. Razorpay shares with me only what it needs for the transaction, such as your name, email or phone number, the amount and the date, which I keep for my own records and tax purposes and never use for marketing.

CV download

Downloading my CV is an ordinary file download. Nothing extra is recorded beyond the hosting logs described above.

This website links to other sites, such as LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Razorpay, YouTube and the live versions of my projects and client work. Once you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies, and I have no control over what it collects.

I use Google Search Console to see how this website appears in Google search results. The verification files on this site only prove I own the domain. They don’t track visitors.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data, for example under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, or the EU’s GDPR. Because the only personal data I hold is email correspondence, you can ask me at any time to tell you what I have, correct it or delete it. Just email [email protected].

This is a professional portfolio meant for a general audience. I don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.

If the website changes in a way that affects your privacy, for example if I add analytics or a contact form, I’ll update this page and the date at the top before the change goes live.
